Upcycle your plant pots with a quick and easy make over! By Dawn
Why have boring grey seedling pots when you can have something fun?! Today I am sharing with you my recent upcycling project featuring the new Wibblerzzz collection, along with some Cadence paints!
For this project you will need;
Seedline Pots
Cadence Cosmos Yellow
Cut/Dry Foam
Cadence Gold Leaf
MCS Wibblerzzz
Craft Master A4 Rice Paper
Cadence Decoupage Plus
Twine
- Beginning with the grey seedling pots, I first made sure they were clean.
- Next up I set to painting them using a nice yellow Cadence Cosmos paint and a piece of cut/dry foam.
- Feeling a bit extravagant, I mixed a little Cadence Gold Leaf and just painted the tops of the rims.
- Using Wibblerzzz My Craft Studio I found the honeycomb backing paper, faded it slightly using the opacity slider.
- The I spaced 9 of the little bee characters out across the A4 space.
- I then printed the design out on the Craft Master Rice Paper.
- I torn around the bee images, using water to help the tear, then using Cadence Decoupage Plus I stuck the images around the pots.
- Finally, I tied a bit of twine arounf the top of the pots and hey presto! Posh Pots!
