Constellation Creations by Sophie
Just over a year ago I decided to change the look of my bedroom and decided to go with something a little more creative than ‘just’ painting. Here’s a little bit of a how to along with some photographs along the way!
The Cadence 3D Dora Metallic Paint Pen made the constellations much easier than trying to use a brush! The Craft Master Glue Applicators also came in really handy for creating the smaller stars, I just popped a little of the paint onto a glass coaster and dipped the applicator or pencil into it.
I tried to keep the stars that weren’t a part of a constellation as random as possible in varying sizes.
What’s been your most adventurous creative project?
- I projected the constellations on to my wall, and sketched them on the wall in pencil.
- For the connecting constellation lines I used a Cadence Dora 3D Metallic Gold Paint Pen (and a really long ruler).
- For the stars, I alternated between painting some on with a little paint brush, dotting some smaller stars with the end of a pencil and using a Craft Master Glue Applicator for some bigger dots.
