Description
Where Christmas stories are written into every detail…
Step into the magic of a Victorian Christmas with A Scripted Christmas — an elegant and nostalgic digital craft collection created for makers who love beautiful old-world detail, handwritten script and timeless festive charm.
Inspired by treasured Christmas letters, antique storybooks, Victorian interiors and beautifully preserved festive keepsakes, this collection brings together traditional Christmas imagery and flowing handwritten script. Every design has been created to feel as though the season itself has been captured on paper.
From ornate reindeer and snowmen to holly wreaths, bells, lanterns, sleighs, baubles and other Christmas treasures, the collection combines monochrome engraved illustration with elegant calligraphy. Words such as Christmas, Joy, Peace, Love, Hope, Family, Magic and Kindness become part of the artwork itself, creating a distinctive scripted look throughout.
The Collection
Backing Papers
A coordinated selection of vintage Victorian Christmas papers, including parchment manuscripts, botanical designs, damask, stripes, snowflakes, snowy landscapes, Christmas interiors, village
scenes and other nostalgic patterns.
Elements
Decorative festive artwork designed in the signature black-and-white engraved script style,
including Christmas characters, ornaments and traditional seasonal objects.
Sentiments Elegant framed sentiments designed to coordinate with the collection, with a variety of shapes and
layouts for cards, journals and papercrafting projects.
Washi-Style Strips Long decorative scripted strips featuring Christmas words, foliage, ribbons and vintage
ornamentation — perfect for borders, layering and finishing touches.
Bonus Elements
Vintage-inspired pieces designed to add storytelling and an antique stationery feel to cards,
scrapbook pages, journals and mixed-media projects.
The Signature Style
The visual language of A Scripted Christmas is deliberately traditional: aged parchment, ivory paper, sepia ink,
deep forest green, muted burgundy, antique gold and crisp monochrome engraving. Fine botanical linework,
Victorian ornamentation and graceful calligraphy give the collection a luxurious stationery character while
keeping the artwork practical for cardmaking and papercrafting.
The scripted elements are particularly distinctive. Rather than simply placing text beside an illustration, the
lettering becomes part of the object itself — flowing across antlers, ribbons, bells, wreaths, ornaments and other
festive forms to create a truly bespoke collection aesthetic.
