Twisted Easel Card Using In The Studio Dewdrop Row By Kath W
You will need:
- In The Studio Dewdrop Row collection
- A background Scene (I used No.48 from Revitalise Your Collection Colour Me Happy download)
- A4 Kraft card
- A4 Gold card
- Scoreboard
- Bone folder
- Double-sided tape / glue
- 3D glue gel
- Scissors etc
- Step 1 Reduce the scene in size to A5 portrait using MyCraftStudio, copy and paste so that you have 2 scenes on the page. Print the artwork needed onto Craft Master 250GSM printing paper. Die-cut out the reflections.
- Step 2 Cut A4 Kraft card down to 11” x 5.5”. Score in the centre to create a 5.5” tent fold card.
- Step 3 Score from the top-right corner to the bottom-left corner, crease the folds with a bone folder to create the twisted easel card.
- Step 4 Cut another piece of Kraft card down to 5.5” x 5.5 “, add glue or double sided tape to the bottom-left part of the easel card, line the 5×5 top piece with the card base, remove tape, and stick in place.
- Step 5 Cut mat and layers as follows, from gold: cut 2 at 5 1/4” x 5 1/4”. From scene: cut 2 at 5” x 5”. Stick the gold card to the top and bottom of the easel card using tape or glue for the bottom, and foam pads for the top. Then repeat with the scenes.
- Step 6 Start by laying the card flat and adding the toadstools to the top part of the card using 3D glue gel, then add the flowers in between the toadstools, followed by the fairies and butterflies (See photo for reference).
- Step 7 Glue 2 of the larger flower sprays together, fold at the stems, and glue them onto the bottom part of the card for the stopper (only glue the stems).
- Step 8 Glue 2 fairies together, glue to the back of flower spray, add more flowers in front of the fairy, add a sentiment and your card is done!
I hope you enjoy this tutorial, happy crafting from Kath W!
