This week’s Green Fingered Tuesday Treat!
It’s time again for a Tuesday Treat, and this week we’re going out into the garden with the versatile Green Fingers die!
Here’s a fabulous project made by Vikki Deakin to give you a little extra inspiration on getting the most from this amazing design.
You’ll need:
- Green Fingers die set and reflections
- White cardstock
- Grey cardstock
- Backing paper
- Background paper (Vikki made her own using My Craft Studio)
- Blue ribbon
- Diamante gems
- 1. Cut two 28cm x 17cm rectangles from white cardstock. On both rectangles, from the left edge, measure in at 5.5cm, score and valley fold. Measure in at 11cm, score and mountain fold.
- 2. Rotate one of the pieces 180 degrees and glue the middle panels of both folded rectangles together.
- 3. Cut two 5cm x 16.5cm rectangles from grey cardstock and two 4.5cm x 16cm rectangles from backing paper. Mat the backing paper rectangles onto the grey rectangles and mat onto the outer folded panels of the card. Cut a 15.6cm square from grey cardstock and a 15.3cm square from the background created in MCS. Mat together and mat onto the middle panel of the card using foam tape.
- 4. Using the Green Fingers die set, cut the Gloves die three times from the reflections and the Outline die once from grey cardstock. Trim the glove die cuts as shown in the image.
- 5. Build up the decoupage of the gloves and mat together with foam tape or 3d glue gel. Mat onto the outline die cut.
- 6. Mat the gloves onto the middle panel of the card. Tie a multi-loop bow from blue ribbon and mat onto middle panel of the card. Finish by adding diamanté gems to the corners of the outer panels.
