Simple 8 x 8 tent fold card using the beautiful Frost & Fantasy Rice Paper Download by Kath W.
You will need:
- 8 x 8 blank card
- Frost & Fantasy Rice Paper Download images 026, 032, 033
- Silver card stock
- White card stock
- Iridescent glitter
- Nested circle dies
- Sentiment
- White bow
- Gem for embellishing
- Glue gel
- Foam pads
- Guillotine
- Scissors
- Step 1 Print all the images out onto 250gsm premium pure print paper.
- Reduce image 026 in MCS to A5 size. Cut silver card stock to 7 3/4” x 7 3/4” Add foam pads to the back and stick to the front of the card base. (Make sure the fold of the card base is at the top (tent fold).
- Step 2 Cut image 032 down to 7.5 x 7.5“ using the edge of your scissors scratch along the edges of the image to distress.
- Step 3 Glue on top of the card base.
- Step 4 Using nested circle dies, place the smallest die over the image 026 of the lady, tape in place, and die-cut out. Cut two more circles going up inside one from silver and one from white card.
- Step 5 Rough the edges of the smallest circle (image) with scissors, glue on top of top of the silver circle, then glue the silver circle on top of the white one.
- Step 6 Attach to card front using foam pads.
- Step 7 Fussy cut butterflies from image 033, curve the wings slightly with your fingers and position on card.
- Step 8 When happy with the position, add glue gel to the back of each one, and attach to card front.
- Step 9 Add iridescent glitter to the card edges, butterflies, and a little to the scene, add a sentiment, white bow and gem, and your card is finished!
