- Take an A3 sheet of card fold in half cut down to 6 inches wide. Next Turn lengthways and mark each side from the at 4” turn the card back around mark the centre of the card (3”). Now score from the top centre to the bottom outer corner Do the same to the other side then score from centre (3”)to the 4” mark Repeat on other side
- Repeat all the markings for the back of the card. See diagram for folding …burnish all the scored lines then fold in the correct mountain and Valley folds push the card in on itself by pushing the arrows inward fold flat
- Make yourself a template for the Matt and layer by taking a piece of card and cutting to 5 1/2” X 7 3/4” put a pencil mark at the centre (top of card) and also at 3 3/4” either side draw with a pencil and ruler as in diagram
- Cut out the long pieces as in photo then take 1/8th” off the two straight edges before cutting the final two top pieces (arrow pieces)
- Use the matt layers to draw around your decorative paper and cut out when you get use to the measurements and cuts you can cut the pieces straight from the patterned paper. Now decorate with your favourite papers and die cuts My card is decorated using craft master Nested Roses and MCS paper
