Quick & Easy Embellishments by Kath W
Did you know you can make your own embellishments from hot glue and glitter? They are perfect for adding to the centre of flowers and bows, and you can make them any size you like!
You will need:
- Hot Glue Gun
- Glue Sticks
- Heatproof Mat
- Glitter

- Step 1 Set your glue gun up, ready with a glue stick inserted. Wait until hot.

- Step 2 Gather an assortment of glitters, take the tops off ready, as you need to work quickly.

- Step 3 Hold the glue gun over the heat proof surface, squeeze gently until the glue starts to come out, move in small circular motions until a little mound of glue is formed.

- Step 4 Work quickly and sprinkle glitter over the top of the glue, do not touch, wait until it cools down.

- Step 5 When the embellishment has completely cooled down, remove it from the surface (I used a pokey tool).

- Step 6 Add your glitter embellishments to all your projects. You can make lots of them and keep them, ready for whenever you need them.
