Quick and Easy Hollyhock Gate Circle Card by Kath W
Hello crafters! My tutorial this week is a simple scene card using the brand new Hollyhock Gate die and artwork collection, I think the artwork is so beautiful it doesn’t take a lot of effort to make a beautiful card for any occasion!
You will need:
Artwork 008 Hollyhock Gate MCS
Textures 02 and 08 Hollyhock Gate MCS
Hollyhock Gate die and reflection
Craft Master nested circle dies
A4 white card stock
Glue gel / foam pads etc
Scissors
Scoreboard
- Step 1 Print all your items from the Hollyhock Gate artwork, die cut the gate using the matching die.
- Step 2 Cut 2 circle shapes from white card stock, (my die measured approx 6.5”). Score one of the circles across the top approximately 1.5” down. Add glue to the top, line the other circle on top, and glue in place. Trim a little off the bottom of the back of the card to stand.
- Step 3 Cut 3 (decreasing in size) layers from the printed artwork, starting with the darker tone of the purple and the scene being the smallest using nested circle dies.
- Step 4 Add foam pads to the back of the two purple circles, then layer on top of the card base, and glue the scene on top.
- Step 5 Add glue gel or foam pads to the back of the die cuts, stick the gate on-top of the scene first so that the posts are easier to aline, and add the florals to either side.
- Step 6 Cut a sentiment using a smaller nested die, layer on top of a purple circle, add a foam pad to the back and stick to the top right of the card.
Your card is complete! I hope you enjoy my tutorial! Happy crafting from Kath W 😊.
