Post Easter musings

Our three grandchildren have been here for our annual Easter egg hunt and sleepover. Now they have gone our house has fallen silent and all I can hear are the birds chirping through the open window. There isn’t even a fur baby in sight.
I look forward to the crafting and planning that goes into Easter egg hunts, and some how manage to let it take hours coming up with ideas. This year the Easter bunny left clues hidden in eggs and the children took turns in finding them and reading then out. The children’s reading is excellent it’s Grandma’s writing that’s the problem. I write by hand so little it really is a scrawl. Maybe I’ll take up calligraphy in my spare time, oh thats  after I’ve finished practicing painting tulips.
