Kath W’s Handy Tutorial For Colouring Ribbons & Embellishments With Alcohol Markers
Hello crafters, have you ever struggled to find ribbons and embellishments to match your projects?
Did you know that you can create your own using alcohol markers!
You will need:
- White Lace / Organza Ribbon
- Alcohol markers
- Buttons
- White Pearls etc
- Simply cut a length of ribbon (I like using white organza ribbon) choose an alcohol marker that will match with your project, lay the ribbon on a scrap piece of paper and run the alcohol marker in sections along the ribbon, carry on colouring until the ribbon is covered.
- Then when it has dried completely you can make a bow from it!
- You can colour wooden buttons, gems , lace organza ribbon, fabric, just experiment!
- You can also make rainbow coloured bows using a few different colours of alcohol markers, just colour the ribbon in sections, and make a bow when it is dry, it’s that simple!
Have fun! Kath W😊
