It’s a Wildflower Wonder of a Tuesday Treat!
Who doesn’t love adding a splash of colour to their hand crafted projects? With this week’s Tuesday Treat we just know you’re going to love die cutting and creating hand made cards with a vibrant hue. With 8 new colourways for our Wildflower Wonders die set to mix and match you’re going to have a great time combining the colours to get the perfect blend for your makes.
Vikki Deakin has, once again, created a stunning project for you to follow along at home with this gorgeous die set. Here’s how she did it:
You will need:
Wild Flower Wonders reflections
White cardstock
Orange cardstock
Purple cardstock
Printed scene created using MCS
- 1. Cut, score and fold white cardstock to create a 20cm square card. On the card back, measure in at 1cm and 11cm from the open edge and score and fold to create a stand. Cut a 19.5cm x 5cm strip from white cardstock. This will be the stopper for the stand on the card back.
- 2. Cut a 19cm square from orange cardstock and an 18.7cm square from purple cardstock. Mat together and mat onto the card. Trim the printed MCS scene to a 17cm square and mat onto the card.
- 3. Using the Wild Flower Wonders die set, cut twice from two different reflection colourways.
- 4. Add sentiments to an 18.2cm square and cut a 14cm aperture in the middle of the square.
- 5. Mat the die cuts onto the card along the bottom of the printed scene with 3d glue gel. Mat the frame over the top with foam pads.
- 6. Mat the stopper onto the back of the card with foam tape about 6cm from the top of the card and tuck the stand into the stopper.
