How To Make A Babys Bib Style Card
Hello crafters today I would like to share with you my Babies Bib card tutorial perfect for babies arrival cards, first birthdays, christenings etc and it’s very simple to make so let’s get started!
For this card, you will need:
In The Studio Velvet Friends Elsie Elephant
Craft Master Fundamental Dot and Dash Oval dies (SVG Files available)
White A4 card stock
Lemon patterned card stock for matt and layer
Ric Rac trim or lace/ribbon
10mm Ribbon for neck tie and enough to make a small bow (mine is yellow)
Small button
Glue
Foam Pads
Tape
- Step 1 Take an A4 piece of white card stock and score it in half to make an A5 card Step 2 Turn the card tent fold place the largest circle die over the top of the card make sure it hangs over a little so that the card remains hinged tape the die down securely and die cut the card out
- Step 3 Using the small oval die cut out the neck section at the top (see picture below) do the same process to your matt and layer this time using the next size down circle die and the next size up oval die attach foam pads and stick to card
- Step 4 Repeat this step with your chosen mat layer
- Step 5 Trim the edge of your bib with Rick Rac or any lace or ribbon that you have at home use red liner tape or quick grab glue Step 6 Matt and layer your little elephant and attached to the front of the card cut a piece of ribbon to 20cm attach to the top top add a button to one side and a-little bow to the other to hide where it is glued down trim a little off the back of the card (at the bottom) so your that your card stands
- Step 6 Add a sentiment of your choice and Now your card is complete quick simple and perfect for baby occasions.
