George is a super cute Tuesday Treat!
It’s time again for a Tuesday Treat, actually we’re a day late posting this one because we’ve been so engrossed in our Festival!
This week we’re talking about the super cute George die which is one of our most popular dies ever, here’s a fabulous project made by Vikki Deakin to give you a little extra inspiration on getting the most from this amazing design:
- 1. Cut a 21cm x 12.8cm from white cardstock. Measuring from the left hand side, score and fold at 4.5cm, 9cm, 13.5cm and 18cm.
- 2. Fold up the rectangle to create rectangular tube stick together using the tab. Add red liner tape to all four sides of the tube.
- 3. Print your printed background eight times and trim to a 12.8cm square. Mat two printed squares back to back to give you four double sided backgrounds.
- 4. Mat the backgrounds onto all four sides of the tube as shown, making sure the left edge of the printed background lines up with the fold of the tube.
- 5. Using the George die set, cut from the reflections twelves times. You will need three for each square of the card. Trim each set of three die cuts as shown in the image.
- 6. Build up the decoupage and mat together with foam tape or glue gel. Repeat for each set of three die cuts.
- 7. Mat one of each decoupaged die cuts onto each square of the card.
