Freestanding Card How To
Hi all, for this tutorial I wanted to show you one way of creating a freestanding card design.
For this project you will need
Co-ordinated Reflection downloads printed on 250gsm pro print cardstock
Foam adhesive
Wet glue
Pokey tool
Scissors
- Step 1 Start by cutting large barrel die on white card stock. Then fold over another sheet of white card tent fold and cut with largest barrel die Make sure you don’t cut over hinge fold. Adhere front base to fold card see pic.
- Step 2 Next cut the fabulous reflections in the largest barrel die , the medium and small Add to base card with foam
- Step 3 Layer a third barrel as shown.
- Step 4 Next take large pig from farmyard wibblers cut away at waistline and decoupage Then use large wagon ( also in collection ) Pop the pig inside wagon by snipping at line inside wagon Attached from reverse Add to main card in foreground.
- Cut and assemble the pig.
- Layer the decoupage.
- And pop him in the wagon.
- Step 5 Use two other wibblers characters in smaller sizes and decoupage top half Sculpt legs with pokey tool and sit on barrels
- Decoupage the other characters.
- And shape their legs.
