Field of Flowers Fold Flat Easel by Kath
Hello crafters I saw this shaped card on Pinterest and gave it my own twist I hope you enjoy making it as much as I did !
You will need
white card stock
Black card stock
Kit N Caboodle 5-in-1 Trimmer
Glue / tape
Foam pads/ glue gel
Ribbon
Field of flowers MCS papers postcard and image
Stripe paper 92, floral 19, postcard 21 image 6
- Cut 1 piece of white card stock down to 6 x 11” score lengthways at 2. ” 4.5” 5.5”. 6.5” and 9”.
- Cut 2 pieces of white card stock down to 6×6” score top and bottom at 1 “ burnish ( valley folds either end) on both pieces
- From black card stock cut as follows For bottom of the card (longest piece)cut 2 at 1 3/4” x 5 3/4” Cut 2 at 2 1/4” x 5 3/4” glue to base. For top cut 4 at 3/4” x 5 3/4” and 2 at 3 3/4” x 5 3/4” glue to top.
- Glue together the top parts of the card in between the 1” score lines (top only) and add finger-lift tape to the bottom parts
- Fold the bottom part of the card into position glue along the 2” score line an hold either side in place until set . attached the top card to the bottom outer flaps (see photo ) Pull off tape and press in place the card should stand up and fold flat
- For the patterned paper cut as per step 3 but decrease by 1/4” on each piece. Matt onto the card
- Cut out the postcard image and glue onto black card add foam pads to the back and stick on card, découpage the rose and make a bow glue both to the card,
