Family Favourites with Kath
Hello crafters I hope you are all well
I am back today with a tutorial for you it’s a fun card perfect for adults and children so let’s get started.
For this card you will need
ITS Family Favourites Vol 2
Dies for card shape (your choice)
Circle die to cut inner
Scoreboard
scoring tool
Printed scenes from ITS family favourites Vol2
A4 black Card
Scissors or guillotine
Sentiment
Twine
Glue
- cut your black A4 card down to 6.5“ x 10”. Score at 1 inch increments score fold and burnish starting with a mountain fold then valley fold until you card is completely folded you should also finish with a mountain fold this is the base of your card. Print 3 scenes in MCS make them A5 landscape in size cut one down in 3/4” x 6” strips x 5 keep them in order so the pattern is in the correct position when on the base of the card glue them in position
- Die cut from your black card 2 larger die cuts I have used ITS nested lanterns but you can use any dies that you think will fit nicely. Cut with a slightly smaller dies 2 scene pieces and mount on to the black pieces. Take a circle die and remove one of the centres from one of your scenes
- Take the scene that hasn’t had the centre cut out and score across the top back 1cm down fold and glue to create the card as(see photo).Add a small amount of wet glue to both the inside bottoms of the scene card position centrally over the front and back of the base and hold till set
- Die cut all your animals ( I glue 2 tight for strength) add glue to the bottom of each animal and stick in place. Add a sentiment and twine if you wish to the front and your card is complete
I hope you enjoy my tutorial we would all love to see your version of this card in our Facebook groups. Happy crafting hugs from Kath W
