Back from Crafting Live Sandown!

This past weekend saw us enjoying the workshops and Craft Show for Crafting Live Sandown. On the Friday we welcomed guests to the Solario Suite with beautiful views across the racecourse and London in the distance. The whole day was spent working through a variety of projects featuring new die sets and different techniques including a box frame, easel card and bouquets. It was such fun welcoming back old faces and introducing new to the wonders of craft. As always, there was a lot of laughter and a whole load of creativity.

Saturday was the first day of the Crafting Live show. The hall was lined with exhibitors offering lots of different craft mediums, and the Highlight Crafts stand was bedecked with brand new display units each catering for the different brands we offer. There was a real hustle and bustle around the hall and lots of determined customers with their list in hand. At the end of the hall, the ever-popular Make and Take classes were a real hive of activity with Amanda, David, Carly, Lou and other demonstrators like Christine from Pinflair, teaching a variety of different projects. Over on the Highlight stand Stephanie was demonstrating the painting techniques while I die cut the new collections from Two Red Robins. Anjie was in charge of the VIP area, and Helen was on hand to book your Make & Takes and dish out goodie bags.

Sunday, the final day of the show, gave us all a chance to catch up further with wonderful guests, many of whom we are very familiar with from the Two Red Robins Facebook Group but who we were meeting for the first time in real life. It was such a privilege to be able to share stories and swap crafting tales. After a full day of crafting it was time to pack up the stand and head back up to HQ ready to start thinking about our next shows and Crafting Live Doncaster.

If you would like more information about upcoming shows just head to the Crafting Live website, and don’t forget to check out the workshop day ahead of the Doncaster Crafting Live show in July.
