A Tropical Touch with True Myrtle
It’s time for another Tuesday Treat, and this week Vikki has created a beautiful card using the stunning True Myrtle die set. Don’t miss this free set of reflections to add an extra colour to your designs, as well as an amazing offer on this die – but hurry, offer ends 5th October 2023.
To create this card, you’ll need:
- True Myrtle die set
- True Myrtle reflections
- White cardstock
- Green cardstock
- Scene created using My Craft Studio
- 1. Cut a 28cm x 18cm rectangle from white cardstock. From the left edge, measure in at 5cm and 10cm and score and fold.
- 2. Cut a 17.5cm square from green cardstock and a 17cm square from a printed scene. Mat together and mat onto the back panel of the card. Cut a 13.5cm x 12cm from a printed scene. From the left edge, measure in at 2cm, 6cm, 8cm and 12cm and score and fold. Fold up to create a tube and mat onto the inside fold of the card.
- 3. Cut a 4.5cm x 17.5cm rectangle from green cardstock and a 4cm x 17cm rectangle from a printed scene. Mat together and mat onto the front fold of the card. Cut a 14.8cm square and an 11.9cm square from green cardstock. Cut a 14.5cm square and an 11.5cm square from a printed scene. Mat the scenes onto the green square. Mat the larger square onto the folded tube and the smaller square onto the front fold of the card..
- 4. Using the True Myrtle die set, cut the large flower seven times and the small flower nine time from the reflections.
- 5. Arrange the die cuts onto the card and mat together using 3d glue gel. Cut a 6.5cm x 3cm rectangle from a sentiment and mat onto the middle square of the card. Finish by adding pearl gems to the top corner of the card.
