8×8 Card Using My Craft Studio Heirloom Florals by Kath W
You will need:
- My Craft Studio Heirloom Florals Download: papers 04, O5 – image 01, 02 – topper 26 – overlay 15
- Black A4 card x 2
- Gold A4 card stock
- Victorian velvet distress ink (optional)
- Lace
- Pink ribbon
- Gem
- Glue / glue gel
- Scoreboard
- Scissors / guillotine
- Step 1 Print all the artwork needed for this project onto 250gsm pure print. (Please note that I have shrunk topper 26 down to approximately 3.8 “x 4.9” ) Add a sentiment to the bottom envelope, you can use the text option for this.
- Step 2 Cut both pieces of black card stock down to 8×8”, score along the top of one of them at 1”, glue this piece to the other to create the card base.
- Step 3 Cut gold card stock to 7 3/4” x 7 3/4”. Add foam pads to the back, and attach to card base. Cut patterned paper (04) down to 7.5” x 7.5”, rough up the edges with your scissors, add foam pads to back, and attach to gold card layer.
- Step 4 Cut 2 pieces of lace to fit in between the centre of the card glue in place.
- Step 5 Cut black card to 3 3/4” x 7 1/4” followed by gold card, cut at 3 1/2 by 7” and pattered check paper (05) at 3 1/4” x 6 3/4”. Layer on-top of each other using glue or tape.
- Step 6 Attach to the centre of the card over the lace part.
- Step 7 Fussy-cut images 01 and 02 (cut 3 of image 01). Cut the topper and rough up the edges. Also cut 3 mini envelopes (from overlay 15), ink the edges with victorian velvet distressed ink.
- Step 8 Cut into the image (02) underneath the roses slide the topper underneath, add foam pads to the back, place on at an angle on the card.
- Step 9 Add glue gel to the roses, layer on-top of each other on the card front. Add glue gel to the mini envelopes, and add to the card.
- Step 10 Attach a bow to the top left-hand corner, and your card is finished!
