Casting material in powder form that lets you create beautiful objects for your home. Mix with water and hardens at room temperature. Add colour, glitter or terrazzo flakes to create beautiful effects.
Resin Cast is the perfect choice for your creative casting project. Simply mix the powder with water, stir by hand and pour into a silicone mould. To add colour, stir Plus Color Craft Paint (water-based pigment) into the water before combining it with the powder. The mix ratio is 100g powder to 35g water and you can add more or less water depending on how thin the casting compound needs to be. Prevent air bubbles by tapping the mould for 2-3 min. Drying time is 90-240 minutes, depending depends on how much water is in the mix. The mixture must cure for 24-48 hours before it is completely hard.
The included pack of 4 sanding blocks are perfect for smoothing your finished resin projects.
The silicone moulds are both flexible and durable, making them perfect for casting with different materials, such as plaster, concrete or Resin Cast. And you can easily clean the moulds by rinsing in soapy water. The silicone-based surface ensures that no residue will stick to it, so you can reuse the mould for your next creative project in no time. Around 150g of Resin Cast is needed for the small moulds and 180g for the oval mould.
Sometimes you like to get messy in your crafting but that doesn’t mean you want your whole table to be. The messy mat is a perfect surface to work on as it’s lightweight, thin and importantly easy to clean! It is even slightly translucent so it can be used on top of light boards.
