This collection gives you the ability to bring all of our favourite spring flowers into our crafting – it could be for your home decor, your spring table centrepiece or to send a card to that someone special.
We have included the first flower of spring, the daffodil, together with the tulip and the bluebell – these bright beautiful flowers of spring will add so much colour to your projects, and are a wonderful addition to your growing Fleurs flower family.
The daffodil is the birth flower of those born in March, it is a reminder of new beginnings, joy and creativity, it blooms early each spring. The daffodil symbolises rebirth and is one of the very first flowers to bloom at the end of the winter thus announcing the beginning of spring and the end of the cold months and dark days. It can also symbolise energy, resilience and forgiveness.
The tulip is the birth flower for those born in April. When we get to April spring has truly sprung and there are so many varieties of the tulip – the tulip fields of Amsterdam are truly breathtaking. Tulips symbolise love, beauty and elegance, and are popular symbols of affection and admiration.
The bluebell is another flower of April, it symbolises gratitude, humility and everlasting love. The bluebell is an essential part of our national heritage. Almost half the world’s blue bells are found in Britain, they are now considered so important that they’re a protected species in the UK.
