Janice Phillips

Janice’s career is a rich tapestry woven from a love of media, adventure, and creativity. Starting her journey at just 16, she began by offering her help at a local bbc radio station, quickly diving into all aspects of its operations. Her passion for new experiences then led her to leave her radio show after five years to travel the world, where she embraced thrilling activities like skiing, bungee jumping, and paragliding, while also earning her scuba diving certification.

After seven years of global exploration, Janice returned to the UK and transitioned into filmmaking, where she not only taught film production but also played a significant role in bringing the International Film Festival to Leicester. This experience further deepened her passion for the arts, which eventually led her into the world of Shopping Television. Janice began her television career presenting tech products, but her heart found its true home in the crafting world. As both a presenter and a dedicated crafter, she enjoys exploring new techniques and sharing her craft journey with others.

Now, Janice is excited to join the team at Highlight Crafts and their live shopping experience. She believes strongly in the power of crafting to bring people together and create a supportive, creative community.
