Abstract Spring Nails with Cadence
I’m going to preface this blog by saying I know this is not everyones cup of tea but I wanted to try something a little different and I thought I would share my experiment with you!
I love doing my nails, I find it gives me a little sense of peace and a feeling of being “put together”! I am also obsessed with following nail trends and one trend that keeps popping up on my timeline is “Abstract Spring Nails”. Now, I’m never normally brave enough to attempt anything other than a simple nude nail BUT on seeing this trend I thought I knew just the product that would pull this look together, and I figured I would give it a go!
For this project you will need:
Nude Nail Varnish
While Nail Varnish
Pastel Nail Varnishes
Black Nail Varnish
Cadence Tilsen
Top and Base Varnishes
Selection of Paint Brushes
- Begin by prepping and shaping your nails. Apply your base coats followed by a nude layer.
- Next up, using a smaller round Painting Perfection brush add some white varnish – the key is to keep the application fairly random!
- Now choose your pastel accent colours – here I am using blue and green.
- I am making sure to clean and dry the brush between each different colour application.
- Using a ball tool (or the end of a paint brush!) add little dots of black varnish, again making sure to keep it all random.
- Add a bit of glitz by gathering a little Tilsen on the end of the brush. Dab the Tilsen on to areas of the nail, layering it up to make sure you get a nice coverage. A little tip to clean your brushes – brush them off in nail prep solution.
- Finally add your top coat to seal the Tilsen in place and protect the design.
